Anika Goyal, is a Washington based artist, who loves painting using oils. She is self-taught from the verybeginning and learns by observing the visual cues of nature and her surroundings. She is born and broughtup in India and moved to the US in 2021. She is passionate about spending time outdoors doing hiking, camping, and kayaking. When she is out, she often takes a moment or pause to explore the depths of natural beauty and capture perspectives on her imaginative canvas. She is inspired by the endless beauty of nature and mixes it with her colorful culture to draw inspiration for her art. She enjoys capturing thebrightest of colors in her work.

Art is her way to connect with people around the world and convey her expression of natural beauty,offering them a moment of connection and the feeling of joy. She primarily uses oils with brushes to have the perfect blending of colors and knives to bring out the textures. Her key subjects are florals, landscapes, birds and night skies. She completed her public arts training with the city of Redmond - Public Arts Intensive Eastside 2023. She has presented her work in multiple art walks, art markets and businesses in Greater Seattle Area. Her art-piece “Source of Light” is selected for Arts-A-Glow 2023, light festival in the city of Burien, WA.
