Ashley is a Multidisciplinary artist working in gouache paint, mixed media and digital illustration with 10+years of experience. She often uses the human form in her work stemming from her extensive humananatomy studies in college. Her artwork displays eccentric color schemes and lots of foliage. Ashley is anarts activist, cultivating empowerment in the Tacoma art community. She founded an art collective calledthat assists artists to reach their personal creative goals. She curates a gallery inside of Artco Framing &Gallery in Tacoma, a space eager to educate about the importance of art and bridge the gap between theemerging artist and their first show. Ashley is a small business owner and manager of her self-brandedcompany, MissLaufer.
Erin Tail
Gathering the Story
Erin Tail is a Lakota, Northern Cheyenne & ᏣᎳᎩ youth living on the Puyallup tribe’s ancestral homelands.They are studying to become a mental health counselor, with a strong interest in community public healthand advocacy work. A lot of Erin’s spare time is filled with beadwork, writing, drawing, engaging withtraditional Lakota ceremonies, enjoying books, and being in community. Their biggest dream is to combinetraditional healing and artistic practices with offerings of counseling and therapy, developing andsustaining reciprocity. Erin believes writing is also a form of visual art, and spoken word is in connectionwith traditional story-telling and knowledge-keeping practices.
