A 7th year transplant to Las Vegas, NV, Sista Nature was born in Laurel, Mississippi. The 8th of 10 children,she first found comfort in writing her anger out at the age of 11.Sista Nature has bachelor and master degrees in Social Work, a master degree in Counseling Psychology,and once re-enrolled, a doctoral candidate whose area of interest is community mental health and artful1expression. Working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she often incorporates therapeutic componentsof poetry into everyday clinical practices.
